Shadowy Quill (Japanese: 双夜舞う怪盗の羽根 Dancing phantom thieves' feather) is a weapon skill in the dagger category which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; it is a personal weapon of the masked-thief variation of Nina. Shadowy Quill boosts its user's attack at all times; if the user initiates combat or is near any allies, it boosts its user's attack and speed, calculates damage using the lower of the foe's defensive stats, and boosts the user's damage based on their active bonuses or the foe's active penalties; and, after certain actions, it allows its user to move back to the space they were on prior to their actions.

Grants +3 attack.
If user initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, attack deals damage based on lower of their defense or resistance, grants +6 each to attack and speed to user during combat, and user deals +(greater of total of user's bonuses or foe's penalties; calculated independently) damage (except with area-of-effect specials).
If user attacked in combat, after combat, inflicts −7 each to defense and resistance of foe and enemies within 2 spaces of foe through their next actions.

Enables【Canto (Recall)】.

Grants Atk+3. If unit initiates combat or is
within 2 spaces of an ally, calculates damage
using the lower of foe's Def or Res, grants
Atk/Spd+6 to unit during combat, and deals
damage = total of the greater between unit's
current bonus or foe's current penalty to
Atk/Spd/Def/Res. (Calculates each value
independently. Excluding area-of-effect
Specials.)
Effect:【Dagger 7】

【Canto (Recall)】
After an attack, Assist skill, or structure
destruction, unit can return to the space
they moved from.

(Once per turn. Cannot attack or assist. After
moving, if a skill that grants another action would
be triggered (like with Galeforce), Canto will
trigger after the granted action. Unit's base
movement has no effect on movement granted.
Granted movement treated as Warp movement.)

【Dagger 7】
After combat, if unit attacked, inflicts
Def/Res-7 on target and foes within
2 spaces of target through their next actions.
