“ | That roster contains details on every soldier in our entire army! Names, birth dates, backgrounds, and...dare I say it... Slightly embarrassing personal tidbits! | ” | — Frederick |

Roster Rescue (Japanese: 迷宮の追跡戦 Labyrinth chase) is a downloadable content xenologue chapter in Fire Emblem Awakening. As a xenologue chapter, it does not officially bear a chapter number; if all xenologues are purchased and its list is viewed at the Outrealm Gate, Roster Rescue is the eighteenth one from the top in the North American version of the game. Officially in Japan and unofficially in North America, Roster Rescue is part of the second series of DLC releases, a distinction that does not exist in the PAL regions.
This chapter was first made available on September 13, 2012 in Japan, April 25, 2013 in North America, and August 22-23 in the PAL regions. PAL region players who purchased the Challenge Pack prior to Roster Rescue's offical release were able to play the chapter up to two weeks early.
In this chapter, seven Revenants have managed to steal the Shepherds' roster. It is up to the Shepherds to defeat them, as well as other Risen the Revenants are hiding amongst, in order to keep their most embarassing secrets secret.

Roster Rescue/Script
At the base camp set up in an Outrealm, Lissa and Frederick report to Chrom that a group of strange Risen have stolen the roster of the Shepherds; as it contains many potentially embarrassing details, they decide to follow the Risen to the ruins they fled to and retrieve it. When they arrive in the ruins, they find five of the seven Risen Lissa spotted attacking the camp, and begin battling them as they attempt to flee; during the battle, the remaining two Risen emerge and also begin fleeing.
After the battle, if all the Risen were defeated, Chrom and Lissa are relieved to have retrieved their roster and stopped the spread of rumors. Lissa then runs to get the roster and read Frederick's secrets, and he chases after her to stop her. Chrom later encounters Robin, who has been harassed by many of the Shepherds attempting to read others' secrets or remove their own; Robin gives Chrom an Einherjar of Palla which he discovered in the roster. If the Risen were not all defeated, Chrom resigns himself to the fact that the Shepherds' secrets will now be widely known.

This chapter features walls that collapse and repair themselves when certain conditions are met. When a wall collapses, it creates a breach that can be traversed, though units cannot end their turn on it. These breaches are two spaces wide, and appear only within the one-space thick, horizontal walls. Wall changes occur at the start of a turn, before player phase.

If more chapters along the main story path are cleared, or if any paralogues are cleared, the player can have access to characters not listed here by the point the chapter is first started. As bonus units are recruitable at the player's discretion, the returning characters list does not list them either.

Trivia
- In the North American version[does it occur in PAL?] of this chapter, Inigo's battle-entry line calls the wrong type of message display (full portrait and the text box style from Chrom's wedding scene at bottom, as opposed to small portrait to the side of a normal text box at the top) and thus does not display the text properly; displaying the script with the R button works correctly. This glitch does not occur in the Japanese version.[2]
