Rally (Japanese: 叫び Cry) refers to both a series of skills featured in several games in the Fire Emblem series beginning with Fire Emblem Awakening, and the command that said skills enable in battle. Rallies are support skills that enable their wielder to boost the stats of nearby allied units for a single turn. Unlike most other skills that provide boosts to other units, rally skills do not activate automatically; instead, a unit possessing a rally skill must use a command to provide the boost at the cost of their own turn.
Overview
A unit possessing any of the below rally skills will have an option named "Rally" in their list of commands if there are nearby units able to receive the rally's boost. Rally skills can provide large statistical increases to affected units, making them useful for letting units hit statistical benchmarks that they otherwise couldn't.
Rallies can be used by a unit to provide statistical bonuses to other allied units. In Fire Emblem Awakening, the game in which they debuted in, Rallies affect all units within a 3-tile radius of the user. They were weakened slightly in Fates, which reduced the range to be all units within two tiles of the rallyist (barring Rally Spectrum, whose range was instead increased to four tiles). Fates also had two personal skills that are Rallies; among these two personal skills, Shigure's personal skill, Perfect Pitch, is rather unique among rally skills as it heals nearby units instead of boosting them.
In Fire Emblem: Three Houses, the range of Rallies was further decreased; now, rallies only affect one adjacent allied unit, and the rallyist must select one to provide bonuses to if there are multiple eligible units to rally. Rally skills also returned in Engage in a lesser capacity and exclusively in DLC, with Rally Spectrum being learnable from Emblem Chrom.
In Fire Emblem Heroes, Rally skills are a kind of assist skill. Like in Three Houses, Rally skills in Heroes affect an adjacent unit the user targets. Rally skills grant a bonus to one or more stats that last until the start of the user's next turn. Because a unit cannot equip more than one assist skill, they cannot grant the effects of multiple rallies at once, as in other games. There are two series of Rally skills: the standard series, and the "Rally Up" series. The standard series affects only a single ally; more advanced skills in the standard series can affect two stats. The Rally Up series can improve only a single stat, but provides the bonus to every ally within two tiles of the target (excluding the user of the skill).
Rally skills are capable of being stacked and their effects combined, with the only limit being that the same rally skill cannot be used on the same unit multiple times. Stacking rally bonuses can be done if different units possessing different rally skills boost the same unit, or if a unit possesses multiple rally skills at the same time; in the latter case, the effects of all the skills will be granted in a single rally.
- Example: In Awakening, a unit possessing Rally Spectrum, Strength, and Luck rallies another unit. The rallied unit gains the effects of all three skills, granting them a boost of +(4 + 4 =) 8 strength, +4 magic, +4 skill, +4 speed, +(4 + 8 =) 12 luck, +4 defense, and +4 resistance for one turn. Another unit with Rally Movement can then rally the unit in the same turn to give them a further boost of +1 movement for that turn.

Trivia
- The rally skills can be considered successors to the Blood Tide, Night Tide, and White Pool skills from Radiant Dawn, all three of which also have the effect of providing stat boosts to nearby allies. The rally skills have very similar icon designs to the aforementioned three skills.
