“ | Don't make me suffer in loneliness again. | ” | — Priscilla to Raven during a support conversation. |
---|
Priscilla (Japanese: プリシラ Priscilla) is a playable character in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. She is a young troubadour searching for her long-lost brother.
Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade
Role
Priscilla was born into House Cornwell in Lycia. Her house was destroyed by Ostia when she was six, separating her from her older brother Raymond. Priscilla was adopted by Count Caerleon of Etruria, where she lived peacefully. When she heard rumors of her brother's whereabouts, she left Etruria with an escort to find him.
Priscilla is available for recruitment in Chapter 14 of Eliwood's or Hector's story. She is waiting in the southern village for her escort, Erk. While visiting with any player unit recruits her, visiting the village with Erk shows an alternate dialogue. Later, Priscilla encounters her brother, now known as Raven.

Analysis
This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience. |
Priscilla joins in Chapter 14 as a Troubadour with fairly good base stats, a high staff rank at C, and a mount; Priscilla has the highest staff level of any unit available until Pent, and she can use a number of staves with no investment, such as Barrier and Restore. As a mounted unit, she has access to Canto and can rescue more units and move units further than if she were not mounted.
Priscilla's promotion to Valkyrie grants her an additional point of movement, +40 weapon experience in staves, and E rank in anima magic. While the Guiding Ring is a competitive promotion item, Priscilla is a strong competitor for it, as it increases her already high staff level further. Priscilla's growths are high enough that she can deal significant damage against the commonly weak enemies in The Blazing Blade. Getting her experience is difficult, however, because staves do not give much experience, and it is generally more worthwhile to promote Priscilla as soon as possible.
As a mounted unit, Priscilla will struggle to traverse rough terrain; this is a particular problem in Chapter 22E/22H, where her movement is limited by desert. Outside of deserts, Priscilla will be slowed by terrain such as forests, but can generally move around it with little overall problem.
Combining mount utility and staff utility is incredible on its own, but Priscilla can even contribute in combat after promoting to Valkyrie. Despite only having E-rank in anima magic, her stats will be good enough on average to double and one-round most enemies. Her defenses will also be solid enough to survive a hit. Since she has 1-2 range, she can also fight on enemy phase in certain scenarios.
Since Priscilla has great mobility, mount utility, staff utility, high availability and even combat after promotion, she is among the best units in the game. While her physical durability is low, her avoid is decently high and she can exploit terrain to avoid getting hit. Having a mount helps her escape danger, and she is a good deployment choice on every map, with the desert chapter as the only exception.
