The Lands Sword (Japanese: だいちの剣 Earth Sword) a sword introduced in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. It is a magic sword which casts the Nosferatu spell, draining the health of the enemy to heal its wielder; when used at range, it is fuelled by the wielder's Magic and targets the enemy's Resistance. In Thracia 776, it is Nanna's personal weapon.
History
In the climax of the conflict between Agustria and its Grannvale occupation in Grann 759, the Lands Sword was entrusted as a final memento to Lachesis of Nordion by her elder brother, Eldigan, before he departed the battlefield to make his ill-fated attempt to dissuade Agustria's king Chagall from continuing the conflict; Lachesis's surprise and familiarity with the sword suggests it is a significant artefact in the Nordion family.[1] Following Lachesis's disappearance, it was inherited by her daughter, Nanna.

Genealogy of the Holy War Ōsawa manga adaptation
As in the game, the Lands Sword was entrusted to Lachesis by Eldigan, as a final memento prior to his death. Distraught over Eldigan's demise, while in exile in Silesse Lachesis attempted suicide with it numerous times, with these efforts never working owing to it merely healing her again. In an effort to overcome her depression, Finn impaled himself on it while it was in her hands and reminded her of its symbolic meaning as a gift: that Eldigan wished for nothing more than for her to continue to live.[2] In this adaptation, the Lands Sword is the size of a knife.

Trivia
- The Lands Sword does not appear in Fire Emblem Heroes, as Lachesis is unable to wield swords in that game; however, it is referenced by one of her offensive staff skills, Absorb, which has the same effect as the Lands Sword of healing her by 50% of the total damage dealt.
- The Lands Sword is the only weapon in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War that does not have 50 uses.
