Trivia
- Despite its description's claim that it "deals no real damage", the Trainer is actually statistically superior to the Iron Sword in every respect save its inability to deal critical hits.
- The French and Italian translations of Path of Radiance rename the Trainer "bronze sword", matching the Bronze Sword that would be introduced in the next game. The Trainer and the Radiant Dawn Bronze Sword even share the same inability to inflict critical hits.
