The Swordslayer (Japanese: ソードキラー Swordkiller) is a weapon introduced in Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem which at different points in the Fire Emblem series has been a sword and an axe. In both forms it performs the same role, as a weapon which is highly effective against sword-wielding infantry classes such as the Mercenary and Myrmidon. As an axe in the Game Boy Advance games it also reverses the weapon triangle, making it strong against swords and weak against lances, and doubles the weapon triangle's effects.
