The Rapier is one of many sword-type weapons in the Fire Emblem series. Usually available since the first chapter of the games it has been on, this sword is quite unique, as it can be only wielded by certain characters, who are usually -but not always- from noble descent. This weapon is particularly effective against armored and mounted units.
The rapier has appeared in eight games so far, being a fixture in the Archanea, Elibe and Magvel games.
