Two Sorcerers (Japanese: 魔道士二人 Two Mages) is the tenth chapter of Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem Book II and Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem.
Plot

Marth's forces enter the Khadein temple to find Arlen and Merric – whom Wendell left in charge of the temple – fighting each other. Arlen started the fight due to his jealousy over Merric receiving the Excalibur tome instead of him. Marth's army intervenes, and Wendell may speak to Arlen, chastising him and recruiting him into Marth's forces.
Once the battle ends, Gotoh appears through the power of his magic and remotely speaks to Marth. He tells Marth of the five spheres, including the Darksphere, which corrupted Hardin and which he uses to make himself invincible. Only a wielder of the Lightsphere can defeat Hardin, and to obtain the Lightsphere, Marth must visit Gotoh in the Ice Dragon Temple. Gotoh orders Marth to head north through the Mamorthod Desert and into Thabes Tower, where Gotoh will arrange for someone to meet him.
